Wood Fencing

Wood fence is a good choice for those who like a natural look or are on a tighter budget but still want a privacy fence.

The board on board style is the most popular because it offers full privacy. Other styles include stockade, shadowbox, and a three or four rail ranch style. All of our wood fences are built on-site without using prefabricated panels which tend to use inferior low-grade wood. Panels are usually made using small boards for the rails and pickets and are usually stapled together.  Building the fence on site also allows us more freedom to make the fence follow ground contours without stepping the fence. This gives a nice custom look to the fence. Our process may take a little longer but in the end it makes your fence more durable, and maintains its original appearance longer, adding value and beauty to your home for many years to come. Standard size is 6 feet tall. Other styles and sizes available as custom fence.

We use a full 2″ x 4″ x 8′ runner and a 5/8″ x 5 ½” x 6′ picket. Our runners and pickets utilize a new and innovative pressure treating called “EcoLife”. This new pressure treating resists cracking, warping, and splitting better than Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ). When being pressure treated for bugs it is also injected with a weather resistant. And, it is eco-friendly. Besides pressure treated pine, we also offer cypress or western red cedar. We also use double galvanized ring-shank nails for maximum holding power and corrosion resistance. We make our gates using a powder coated metal frame to prevent warping and sagging. We also use a larger post for the gates to ensure a trouble free gate.
